Wearing a Yousef Akbar dress that featured a thigh-high slit and a matching jacket, Shilpa attended a recent awards evening. Diamond jewelry and bling-y strappy Louboutins rounded out her look.
The dress, the shoulder-baring jacket worn just so and all that shimmer on any other person would seem so excessive. Yet, this brand of ott is right up Shilpa’s alley. In fact, she might be among the very few who stood any chance of making this work. But, it wasn’t among our favorites from the evening. The whole look seems too contrived and forced, we weren’t big on it.

Everytime I see someone wearing jacket/coat which is loosely falling on one shoulder, it reminds Victoria Beckham’s comment about trying to look casual, but failing at it..

She herself doesn’t seem particularly convinced by it either, she looks as if she’s either pretty uncomfortable or mechanically striking the poses

Which kind of dress it is? And honestly speaking, I don’t like anyone’s styling except Deepika and Kiara in this Vouge Power Event. Forget styling, not even a sighting of a something which one call good designer dress.
