Alia departed for London on Sunday late night and was spotted toting around a whole lotta Gucci luggage. While I am not surprised given that she is the brand ambassador, I am a bit amused at the logo t-shirt. Did she really also have to wear that? She could’ve picked a more non-logo outfit from the brand. What say you of this very obvious promotional outing?

It’s hilarious ! Gucci t shirt, sling, luggage ! Walking talking billboard ! Actually billboards are more subtle than this.
This is so funny. The outfit is nothing to write home about. However, I am happy that she is endorsing a century-old international brand.
On an aside, I can completely see Kareena wearing this (sans the luggage).

You would never see a western celebrity looking like this when they are bound by similar contracts. Way to dilute the brand image! There is so much fakeness in these pictures. As someone aptly said in another comments – this is giving Aunty went to Thailand and bought everything…

Do the celeb’s PR teams get to choose looks without brand approval & request articles as they deem fit? ..or is it a case of being given articles and a thought book & being told to make it work?
Agree with the Thailand comment, also the fabric bag look like its caving in coz it’s empty so I understand that the entire thing looks gimmicky.

Most contracts require the celeb to only use their products which is why we see Deepika always carry LV bags and Alia Gucci everywhere.

On a side note, why would you anyone buy such expensive suitcases? Is it only because of brand value or is there any quality differentiator?
I am not sure about Gucci luggage but LV luggage are very well made – given how the brand started , if you take care of LV it can last generations. And by taking care I mean fly private 😀
The quality is better, in my experience .
I dont lile Gucci, have nothing from the brand
But lv, Prada, cc are better quality in show, bags and Travel accessories. They last much longer.
Personal opinion though. I might be biased.
Quality has been compromised for all these big brands while price keep going up. I have several Gucci pieces and you can see the difference in the craftsmanship from a vintage Gucci to some of the new pieces.
Totally reminding me of Divya Khosla Kumar in her dressed in logos from top to bottom. 2008?

If the aim is to sell the brand, not buying anything I see. Way to dilute the brand. Ranveer Singh is more of a suitable Gucci personality!
