While promoting her latest movie, Amala was photographed in a pair of severely distressed denims, one that she teamed with a white tank and a grey jacket. Understated earrings, berry-toned lip color and brown block-heeled sandals rounded out the actor’s look.
Pair of pumps or more minimalist sandals would’ve looked sharper with the jacket… Had she paired the denims with a basic white tee, the sandals she had on would’ve worked fine. All that said though, Amala did make the look work for her. Sure, the denims were a bit much but it helped that she owned every bit of that look.

The high-waisted distressed bit kills it. Distressed denims if high-waisted give a very weird vibe. Love her fierceness and the overall look but that denim is not ok!

Omg she is so stunning! And I love everything about the outfit – because the jeans are such a statement, everything else was paired back. Plus I feel like pumps or stilettos would be the safe route – I’m excited that she went the 90’s block heel direction. I can’t wait to see more of her!
