Anamika Khanna x H&M Collection

Comment image 3

H&M and Anamika Khanna are launching a capsule collection and more details about it with price points are finally out. This time around though, there seems to be no polyester use. TYou’ll remember Sabyasachi got a bit of flak for a few issues with her one of them being for having some of his pieces have polyester in them and for collaborating with a fast fashion brand. This collection though has a lot of pure silk items and some blends using Lenzing™? EcoVero™? and Cupro, both of which have viscose origins and Tencel which is made from eucalyptus.

At this price point, are you buying? Catch all of the collection and pricing here.

P.S. Before you ask, I am not just because I have given up on fast fashion labels that mass produce. Again, remember this is not me telling you what to do.

  1. I am not just because I have given up on fast fashion labels that mass produce. Again, remember this is not me telling you what to do.

You could adopt this line for fur, exotic animal skins etc

Remember when the power is stacked in one direction (fur industry and fashion) there is no such thing as being neutral, so your silence is not neutral

    • It gets exhausting to preface everything with a disclaimer. Also the world has a thousand issues and a thousand positions people can take on those issues. To appease everyone and to do lip service to a cause is a disservice to it. Why do we need a disclaimer from her about fur, I am sure she does not condone it.

I think we can all relax a bit and enjoy the blog.
