Parents to be Ranveer and Deepika visited a temple on Friday morning where mom-to-be was seen in a banarasi sari from Banarasi Baithak. Per the brand, the color and weave motif was recreated using an archival sari that was in tatters and the revived version was picked up by Anaita who gifted it to Deepika.
Best wishes to the parents to be. The first few months post delivery is quite the ride! Don’t know about you but my brains were mush. 😛

She is looking beautiful….. But why did you cropped off Ranveer?…. True Payal, first a few months are really challenging. Low birth weight baby, constant crying, sleepless nights, mastitis, constant pumping, sanitization and what not…..

When I had my first child, and got discharged from hospital, I was sad. I didn’t understand postpartum depression the. I told my mom I miss being pregnant and having the child a part of me. I am glad she didn’t dismiss me and talked to me.

A necklace (even her mangalsutra) would’ve been a nice addition. Cool details about the sari though.
