Deepika attended the wedding on Friday evening wearing another Torani, this time a red kurta suit featuring gota work. She sported her signature sleek hairdo and paired the look with ruby and kundan jewellery. The point to note here is the Bazuband (arm band) worn as a neckpiece from Chand Begum Jewellers featuring a 160 karat ruby.
It’s a whole lotta gota but she wore it well. I do however dislike that she went back to her extreme-sleek low bun. I wish she’d pick a softer wispy updo than this over gelled one.

This was a perfect hairstyle for this look. Anything else would distract from the jewelry or the outfit or the face. 10/10. Loving Ranveer’s look as well
100% agree on hairstyle. I wonder what PnP would suggest for hairstyle with exact same jewelry and dress.
An updo is needed but a softer wispy one than this uber gelled she loves to sport all the time.

She is glowing! But I agree there is too much heaviness in this look with the gota, softer hair would have been nice. That jewelry is really not my style, it’s kind of too large and chunky in a way that looks wrong. But overall she looks nice !
What a disservice to the 160 carat ruby. I mean the necklace design. She looks amazing.
