Janhvi attended the wedding wearing a custom gold lehenga from Falguni and Shane Peacock but the point to note here is that the choli was made from real gold temple style neckpieces. Additionally the lehenga skirt also featured a jewelled belt accent. She looked great here.
But, alas with all the show-shaa going around with everyone and their stylist trying to get into superlative mode with their outfits, this look will be quickly forgotten in a few days and that reality is a bit sad. I hope Ms. Kapoor keeps that choli and re-wears this with a sari to get more wear out of an outfit that is almost an heirloom one. One can only hope!

The bottom of the lehenga got too glittery tbh. The choli is truly beautiful and I’m glad it’s a good fit. The hair and makeup are wonderful – perfection!
The face, makeup and the whole gold theme comes together beautifully. But, still can’t get behind everyone dressing to the nines and then some for a not in the family wedding.
Hopefully that choli gets more wears and not forgotten
I think the outfit is on rent so it will be reworn by others or would get sold. Not sure what happens to such outfits.

I get the joke but I think she will wear a Kanjeevaram complete with a Nagashi for her pheras.
She could’ve saved this for her own wedding. Why wear something so bridal to someone else’s wedding almost wanting to upstage the bride. Very poor in sentiment

Beautiful but so thoughtless IMO. It looks like she’s the bride the way she’s all decked up.
Dislike the blouse straps n fit… Too blingy , too much gold..
She looks like she’s dipped in gold foil. Sorry but it’s very OTT and likely to upstage the bride. And the excessive push up and contoured cleavage is forever turn off for me.
What is with the “upstage the bride” comments? Have you seen the rest of the pictures? Did you see Jaya Bacchan’s jewelry? This is very blingy but compared to everyone else, it’s a neatly done concept, well executed.
