In Jigyam

Madhuri was seen at the Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in a ikat patola sari from Jigyam featuring a heavily embroidered border. I am normally not a fan of huge borders on saris but she looked nice here. You like?

  1. It is nice that Madhuri wore a sari and bindi though I am straining to see the ikat.

I am a wear what you like person but it is a bit absurd that the most important festival for Mumbai has people dressed like they are off to destination weddings, cocktail parties and Mughal-e-Azam auditions. Most of us have a sense of the minimum requirement of dressing for a religious function but Bollywood is always pap ready it appears.

  2. It looks nice- but more for a cocktail party- she could have opted for a traditional- Paithani, Puneri or Uppada saree. Not just her no one wore the traditional weaves!! Sad really!!
