It was pantsuits for both Mom and daughter at Apoorva Mehta’s 50th birthday bash with Maheep wearing one by Ahluwalia and Shanaya, one by Studio Amelia. They both looked nice but I was drawn to Maheep’s more.

Shanaya is just drowning in all that make up. Can’t see why these pretty girls need so much of it 🙁
Yes…It’s aging her
Wow Shanaya looks like such a smoke show. And so cool and effortless – love the deep neck line paired with the more relaxed silhouette which keeps everything grounded.
Shanaya could’ve dazzled, but it’s a sobered suit, kind of boring.
May be it’s the fact that both are wearing suits that you chose to make it this vs. that round, but in my view its avoidable to put two generations in a “competition”. Unnecessary comparisons like these don’t do anyone any favors. We can critique both individually as well.
Shanaya looks nice. If it has not been for the bad styling and make up, this would have been a winner look for her. She is young and has good skin. She doesn’t need all that contouring and bronzing. Wish she would adapt the natural 2022 make up trend.
Maheep’s suit is weird with the pattern. But she does look nice here. A welcome departure from all her bad bad bad outfits from the past.
Shanaya looks chic. her makeup though is much too much and quite badly done
Shanaya seems to have an effortless and chic style. Her outings have been different from the rest of the clan. Someone to watch out for on these pages. Hope she doesn’t become another Bollywood clone after her movie releases.
Both looked the best in their individual circles! The Kapoor ladies suit up well!
Maheep looked smashing good.
Can’t say “like mother, like daughter” on this one when Maheep’s look is horrendous and Shanaya looks smoking!
Shanaya is wearing more make up than her mum ! Too much blush and the same sneering expression on her face all the time
