Déjà Vu

When I had seen Koena earlier this month at the Gladrags Mega Model and Manhunt finals, I knew there was something familiar about the dress but just couldn’t put my finger on it… but now I know, the colors totally reminded me of this dress from Roberto Cavalli’s Spring 2006 ready to wear collection!

On paper, Koena’s dress should have worked, the colors are beautiful, but they just don’t! Maybe it has to do with her inability at carrying off the dress? For now though, I just prefer the way model Valentina Zelyaeva wears hers on the runway! Fierce.

At the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards, we spotted the LV Miroir Speedy in Raveena’s hands! The metallic bag can be quite flashy but somehow it seems to gel real well with her yellow outfit and looks quite nice!

Its the good old beige sari with some silver work but while one made it look even less ordinary, the other elevated it by just sheer class. Need we say who fell in what category?

Match Point

It is not the first time that we’ve seen Udita do turquoise, but the last time that we did see her in it, we made a recommendation, and she seems to have heard it! (Ok, so its a coincidence but we choose to believe otherwise!!)

What she wore recently is still a bit matchy for us, the necklace, the bracelet, the shoes (and what we suspect from some pictures, even the innerwear!!)… as long as everything is in the same color family it works and a lil’ bit of contrast never hurt but excessive coordinating is way too last decade!!

And wearing fashion jewelry as a set (necklace+bracelet+earrings) is such a no-no! Perhaps next time she can keep the turquoise beads and pair it with a silver cuff??
