I have a few Raw Mango tailored pieces, so here is my two cents. Their tailoring is impeccable. All outfits are lined in striking contrast color and the material is not some flimsy quality. That additional material also has a cost which adds up. Their quality and unique designs make me go back and invest in a few more because they last longer. Also, Raw Mango was the first to come up with such color combo concepts and pairings which now the neighborhood darzis/masterjis remake for cheaper. You are paying partly for the original idea and partly for the good quality of the product. I have had a friend order a 10k lookalike and the quality was nothing like a Raw Mango. As for the saris, they create their own unique weave motifs which again the weavers copy and resell for cheaper. Now, in the market, you can get an exact replica of a Payal Khandwala/Sabyasachi but what is missing at the reduced rate is the quality. I am curious to hear other people’s opinion as well.
