Rani has been busy promoting her movie and was seen wearing not one but three looks in Masaba’s printed saris. I am going to have to guess, the promotions were her being ‘in-character’. If not, while one outing was nice, three of the same was overkill.
She also was spotted wearing a floral churidaar suit by Sabyasachi for another set of interviews paired with Gucci logo flats. Loved the suit on her, the flats, not one bit.

Masaba prints can be a bit o’ overkill and those full-sleeve blouses (esp in that first yellow monstrosity) is a lot of overkill. She looks lovely in the other 2.
Love, love, love the suit on her! So pretty, floral, romantic. Hate the flats. I also love her muted makeup. Yes, I am biased – she’s one of my favorites 🙂
Green could be the better one but None of the sarees look good.. makes her look heavy or caged with the bad colors, voluminous hairstyle and full sleeves blouses ending with bangles like cuff. The white suit looks nice in last pic.
I love Rani in the green Masaba saree and the Sabya suit. Agree about the Gucci shoes…what’s her obsession with all things Gucci?
I liked the green- because of the bigger neck on her. The others seem to be wearing her completely. I like Masaba but I felt these were not appropriate for Rani. Overwhelming prints and overwhelming on her small frame.
I also thought the make up was not great. Some pictures on social media show the dark eye make up and it was too heavy especially with these sarees. Tring to be gentle here since Rani is gorgeous but these looks were terrible.
Yes, the high neck and long sleeves are drowning her and in the same pattern at that!
For an ‘in character’ look, the sari style seems interesting.
As for the suit, i don’t like it. It looks the design should be on a bedsheet and not on a suit.
I think Rani rocks a saree like no one else. Love the Sabya suit – her makeup looks totally different on the 2nd Sabya picture
She looks outstanding in all the looks. Carries that Babli vibe so well and with elan!!!
The contrast glass bangles, that nose ring, silver earrings, ring- I mean killer!!

Masaba’s prints are good but they are really way too much for 5 yards of cloth unless one is glamazonesque maybe.
Sabya is so all over the place. Suit looks like the Delhi sort from labels like Biba. Which are all perfectly ok labels. Why would you pay ?????? for a Sabya version.

Thee saree looks are HORRIBLE whether Masaba or random purchases.
The Sabya suit is lovely but utterly killed by the eyesore GUCCI slides.

She looks like a wallpaper in the third Masaba saree. I’m all for modest clothing but this same print on print full sleeved blouse with a chokehold neckline is too much.
I don’t care any of the prints on saris or the suit, though Rani looks good!
Too much print ..seems like rani is drowning in it. Solid blouses wud have worked for her. And thosebr not flats P&P.. but Slides workn with an elegant suit .. eeks

Watched the episode of Big Boss where Rani was wearing this green saree. I too hope was her ‘in character’ look as the whole look wasn’t flattering at all. As for wearing flats, she has leg injury. These might be most comfy pair for her.
In the garb of a designer, Masaba is taking revenge on these beautiful women… other than this there is no sane explanation for these stupid “designs” by her.
The first pic looks like a random fan pic.. those gucci shoes are probably her dressing room shoes , giving her foot some rest from heels..

All things said.. Rani is forever love.
Honestly who the hell is styling her!She looks horrible.The saree although is really nice and typical Masaba with the edgy prints,the whole unblended matching eye shadows,contrasting bangles,annoying nose ring and those huge glasses,I am just done seeing the repetitive looks on her.Why cant she embrace her body and opt for a clean and classy looks like how Vidya balan is doing currently.
She really needs to let loose and get rid of some of her stylists and have a change of a scene.She can carry a saree with elan,if she trusts the “Who Wore What When” team.I love the way they style some of them.
She looks nice in the green saree becoz of the blouse . The sabya outfit looks great too . Her stylist should know better that for a short person so much material makes her look odd and even shorter ! Why not just dress normally for promotions instead of “ in character “ .
Ugly sarees . And all that print doesn’t suit rani’s frame anyway . She used to wear such beautiful sarees . Suit is pretty but those Gucci chappals are hideous
Saw her on a tv show wearing the yellow saree. Print and fabric overkill. A simpler blouse, maybe a black sleeveless one with ethic silver jewellery would have elevated the look.
Seems like she has injured her foot and hence the flats.
The sari’s first….
Masaba’s strength as a “designer” is her bold patterns and it makes sense to use them on a simple garment like a sari. So that is one positive. Technically her clothes are very poorly made, ill fitting and the fabric quality is not the best. So Rani is basically wearing the “best” of Masaba and doing a pretty good job of being in character and looking nice.
Now for that God awful Sabya suit….
Rani chose the worse possible suit to wear from his collection and because she is Rani and loves her hideous logos – she has to flaunt those slides. Else there is no sane reason to wear those slides with a suit. Have money, will flaunt.
I just wish she gets over this logo fixation.
The photos don’t do justice to how pretty she looked in real… I saw her on the kapil sharma show n she looked radiant !
