In Sabyasachi

At the opening events of the Indian Film FEstival of Melbourne, Rani was in attendance wearing a cream jamdani Sabyasachi sari with gold earrings from Amrapali and a small red bindi. She did look lovely.

  1. Gorgeous saree but I think this’d have been better paired with a sleeveless blouse– either a high neck or a close V.
Or if it had to be a sleeved blouse, a regular neckline would have been better.

  2. I think it looks okay and borderline Head mistress-ish, with the dhola dhola fitted sleeve and deliberately ill tailored neck fitting making me go huh?…
And the ear rings while they are very pretty didnt match with the saree at all and looks a bit randomly paired. I liked her bindi that makes her look sweet. Bit of a lost opportunity as Rani usually looks very nice when she picks the right saree and can usually ace formalish events with a traditional spin

  3. Meh, not bad but something too restrictive and harsh/severe about the look. Glad she didn’t go for the signature sabya hair but it’s still too flat
