Sanya attended the screening of her movie in Melbourne wearing a benarasi kurta set designed by her mom, Renu Malhotra paired with a red jacket from Delhi Vintage Co and a headpiece from Shri Paramani Jewellers. I, for one, loved this craft rich mix of motifs look.

Don’t like the jacket and purple outfit together.. both fighting for attention, the purple is beautiful.. add to that head jewellery is over overdone. It’s three looks squished to one.
Don’t like the head piece at all. It’s like a child has found their mother’s jewellery and is playing dress up coz they don’t know how to actually use it.
Love the purple set and the head piece. The brocade jacket does not go with the rest. There are too many clashing colors and motifs fighting for attention. Wish she had edited out the jacket.

Love the red and purple together — such a quintessentially desi combo. But the head ornament is one accessory too much.
It’s all a bit too much.. would have preferred to see her wear these pieces separately.
