At their wedding reception, Sonakshi was seen in a red benarasi sari from Raw Mango and Zaheer in a white jacket set with a hint of red in the collar. Again, my congratulations to the newly weds.

Sonakshi looks Resplendent!
I was just thinking oh no colour in this wedding too and saw this post.
Like Sonakshi herself – lovely and talented and a little out of step with current Bollywood – her wedding ensembles look rich and classy and different from what we usually see in these pages. Can only think of Yami Gautam’s wedding dress as comparable.
Dia’s benarsi was stunning! I am not a big fan of benarsis – more partial towards lighter silks – but Dia’s was a beautiful red.

I low key liked Angira Dhar’s red saree too.
I thought Angira’s sari was nice but overall she looked very charming.

What an absolutely beautiful wedding. Intimate, individual, authentic, personal yet celebratory. Love that they dialed down the ostentation in every way — from the number of ceremonies to the layers of jewelry. Totally sets a new trend. All the best to the newly-weds.

How nice to see a Bollywood actress dress for her wedding like we regular people do , simple fuss free , elegant . No boob show or low cut out blouse & no glitzy lehenga . I hope other Bollywood actresses that r getting married go the same route . The only thing I would add is either a red lip as I think it brings the look together or a maang tika but overall lovely !
Gorgeous saree and Sonakshi looks ethereal. Normally frappes saree with a normal blouse and looking fabulous.
A radiant couple – how refreshing when the glow is from a beautiful radiance & not blingy overload. More role models are needed like them in an era of overhype and over bling.
I think that’s the power of simplicity, individuality, classy and of course Red Banarasi which is making Sonakshi shine even more!! Love the look.
I find the open chest display on the groom quite off putting. Sonakshi nailed it. So glad she wore traditional red. Tired of all the wester wedding color palettes.

Love! She looks lovely. It’s not the typical Bollywood ott saree, and the best part is that most of us can afford it! One can wear this saree over and over again. I’ve seen similar versions at Tilfi.
