Sari Style

Sonam hosted Masaba’s baby shower at her mom’s home and the color scheme seemed to be beige/brown. Sonam was seen in a brown crochet trim sari custom made by Masaba paired with a white crochet Rejina Pyo blouse and matching earrings. Neither the sari nor the top was my cup of tea. Did you like?

  1. For someone who has so much colour in her design, it just seems sad to throw her a baby part that is themed around the colour beige.

  2. Love the blouse but I’d rather wear it with jeans.. The saree is nice too..

    But why on earth would someone keep such a serious color like beige for a baby shower????

  3. I actually love this look! Usually not a beige fan but the way she’s put it together is so unique and so Sonam. Can’t think of anyone else who would have thought of pairing these components.

  4. The color choice has something to do with Masaba’s brown lipstick range launch, methinks. Why let a good media coverage chance go waste?

      • @Senorita Masaba has not spoken about why she chose earth tones for her baby shower.
        @Sana
        You all are stating your opinions as fact and then reacting negatively to it. I understand her baby shower theme is not to your personal preference but there’s no need to be so miserable about it.

        • Uh no, my response is only to this comment. No assumptions. As for the Colors of ocassion, it’s fine nothing bad, I’m no one to hate someone’s occasion, my comment is only on Sonam’s saree color combination.

  5. So much judgement and mohalle-waale aunty like comments for something that’s totally her prerogative and her personal choice.

    I actually loveee what Sonam is wearing, So earthy and warm. Credit to her for thinking out of the box and pairing a brown saree with a crochet blouse.

      • Excuse me, everybody posts on social media. Being public figure doesn’t mean, you forget basic level of decorum when speaking about them. Be it a pyblic figure or not, there’s criticism and then there’s miserable comments. Its ridiculous to criticize the theme when we don’t even know why they chose it. This comment section does not pass vibe check at all.

    • Maybe next time you should apply the”mohalle waali aunty” moniker to yourself when you don’t like an outfit? 🙂

      Insulting HHC commenters makes you MORE of a “mohalle waali auntie”

    • I just think there are some occasions where one must spare their harsh judgements on the subject. HHC follows a policy of not criticising brides on her special day. I think the same courtesy can be extended by us to moms-to-be during their baby showers. It’s an extremely special and vulnerable phase in their lives and there’s so much that needs to go right emotionally, physically, mentally for the experience to be cherished. The least we can do is to spare judgements on decisions made by the mom-to-be on this day which is supposed to be special and celebratory because god only knows there are enough harsh tongues without us adding to them

    • It wasn’t a very serious dress code affair. Everyone followed a color scheme and kept it casual or dressed up as per their individual preference. It was not a huge thing, pretty low key, close friends and family affair.
