At the trailer launch of her upcoming movie, Tara was photographed in Gaurav Gupta. Traditional earrings, a cocktail ring and wavy hair rounded out the actor’s look. Though she first had the dupatta on, at some point during the photo-op she ditched it.
It’s hard to get excited over this; both the overall look and the “lehenga” itself lacked all novelty. Meh.

Who in their right mind would think this is a) a complete outfit in itself b) REMOVE the dupatta for a photoshoot?
Lol, don’t tell me the younger generation (who was a fan of her short short skirts) thinks this outfit is designer and complete.
Not sure what was the point of that dupatta anyway, it didn’t serve any purpose .
Can we not generalize the “younger generation” as one, please. I’m sure there are plenty of younger folks who find this atrocious.

Perhaps the designers grew up reading Amar Chitra Kathas and are now creating “apsara” like dresses, but without the dupattas? That’s the only way I can explain these monstrosities…
She got a raw deal in the first movie. Maybe she is on an overdrive to prove the endowment department where she is slightly ahead of her peers. A talented musician trying to make her mark south of her vocal chord is just sad.

A pretty girl who has no sense of style. In SOTY 2 promos also, she was either in bras/bralets, low cut tops or super tiny minis… So much skin show. Looks like it will be a repeat this time too! Another Malaika in the making?
To me, she always looks like long lost sister of actor Girish Kumar!
She’s a very attractive girl but she still needs to identify her style groove. When you’re that young, you try out a bunch of things before you find what works for you. There is a certain awkward honesty in it. Better than wearing over-curated looks by stylists!
She’s turning 24…. that’s young, of course, but is that considered “so young”? Just wondering.
A little bit of common sense or a good mirror would have helped in getting this look from tacky to pretty.
